IF YOUR CEDAR ROOF IS SHOWING SIGNS OF CURLING,
It Probably Time For A Coat of Preservative
Wooden shingle roofs once represented one of the few types of roofs available. Today, it is a premium product that costs homeowners five times as much to purchase and install than the more common asphalt shingle roof.
Our process begins with a complete inspecting of the roof and gutters where we replace damaged shingles and clean clogged gutters.
We wash the roof with a mix of environmentally safe chemicals designed to eliminate mildew, mold, and moss. This washing process is most important because it will later ensure the shingles absorb as much of the preservative as possible while filling the spaces in the wood that have opened through the aging process.
When the ideal moisture level is reached, we apply a high-quality moss and fungus eliminator with UV wood preservative that will help in reducing the return of moss and fungus while protecting the shingles from dry curling and future costly repairs.
